FREE beer once you get on the bus so ride at your own risk and know you'll leave with a priceless experience!

May 5th nearly 2 years since Price Gouge'n, the arrest, and bicycle ride to Washington DC. If you're in the Valparaiso area you can get there in a more environmentally conscious way and hop on the bus we have leaving from the Family Express at the corner of Silhavy and 2.
Tickets are $20 which includes the ride in and out of the city, admission to the show, CD and little laminate keepsake ticket you see here. The bus leaves @ 7pm so be there early and get tickets now because we only have about 30 left.
Tickets can be purchased online and we'll save your spot with CD and ticket. If you are coming by from Chicago or driving yourself tickets are $7 at the venue.
Danielle Cales will be playing a full acoustic set starting around 8:30pm and we go on at 11pm.

Watch your MOUTH!
Another gig at the Hookah - it was pretty slippery and I can attest! Thanks to everyone who came out and braved the weather.
While carrying out one of the big boy speaker cabs with Nicholas Esola I was walking up the ramp to the trailer and lost my footing. So I dropped the speaker and went face first into the it - grill to grill so to speak, busting my nose and upper lip. The result was a bloody mess.
Here are some pictures from the next day.

Help for Haiti is a fundraiser being held at the Valparaiso International Center. Please come and enjoy live music and a drum circle and donate what you can to the poor people of Haiti.
Come see us play this Friday with Danielle Cales. Be among the first to experience our game shows - Sexual Hangman and Porno Password. Win a free CD or a T-Shirt.

Danielle Cales and The Energy Commission will perform songs from their latest albums and a few new ones.
With your ticket you will receive an album of your choice. This is a benefit concert to help us recoup some of the insane expenses we've incurred in the past couple of years and keep our musical ambitions moving forward.
Tell your friends and stop by for some good tunes or do what you can and donate.
Yours
Jay
The Energy Commission will perform with new band mates at 5:30 just after mixing it up a bit with Danielle Cales who goes on at 5. Be sure to stop by the booth where Jay Weinberg will be showcasing and selling his fine art as well as selling albums.
The first 5 people to sign up for the mailing list that day get a free copy of 10,000 Hours.
Only one song will be featured from the 10,000 Hours album as this is Daniele Cales' gig. Come by and see us perform The Damnage live and hear some of Danielle's other fantastic songs with Nick Esola on keys and Jay Weinberg on the djembe and emceeing.
Will be performing with Danielle Cales and Winfield Vega for the Energy Commission set. Stay and check out our comrades - Planetary.
Still ironing out the details but we should be splitting this bill with a long time friend's band Future Ghosts.
Keep it open though it's not set in stone yet.
I'll be performing with Danielle at our booth at the Bass Lake Fest (Bass Lake,IN)
We'll be playing throughout the day and will likely be back on Sunday to play some more, sell CD's, and exhibit some of my artwork.

Off to Nashville again. This time we're taking a special guest with us - Jim Cooper is a new friend I made this summer. He's bound to touch hearts and inspire. I'll post some video of him soon and link to his myspace.
